Flight on MiG-29 – Tour Program
Flight day program is made up individually for every guest to meet his/her needs. Here is the standard schedule:

08:00-08:45 Company representative picks you up from the hotel (railway station, airport, whatever place in Nizhny Novgorod comfortable for you) to bring you to Sokol airfield.

08:45-09:00 Arrival at Sokol airbase checkpoint, passport control and car inspection. Transportation to Flight test facility. Please note that it is strictly prohibited to carry any photo/video equipment, tablets or notebooks to the airbase territory. Photo and video shooting is to be performed by authorized specialists only.

09:00-09:15 Airbase doctor will check your general state of health and measure your blood pressure. After that you get flight permission.
|
|
09:15-09:45 It’s high time to meet Sokol airbase test pilot who is going to be your first pilot. In the course of the briefing you will learn in details about higher aerobatics to be performed, altitude, speed and g-forces. Flight program is to be adjusted according to your requirements.

|
09:45-10:15 After the briefing on flight program the specialists help you to put on either g-suit or high altitude suit depending on your flight program. Specialists will adjust it to fit your size and tell you how to use the helmet and oxygen mask.

|
10:15-11:00 Final preflight preparation is accomplished at the airfield. Together with a pilot you will examine the aircraft checking its readiness for the flight and study its design and layout. Instructing you inside the cockpit the pilot will tell you about integrated control system, radio communication and ejection system.

11:00-11:45 Finally here is what you’ve come for! Flight onboard legendary MiG-29 jet fighter according to the program chosen, a trip to the Edge of Space and stunning aerobatics that will be one of the best experiences of your lifetime!

|
11:45-12:00 First minutes after the flight is the best time for making memorable pictures capturing your emotions. Our photo and video operators will do their best to provide you with high-quality materials.
|
|
12:00-12:30 As soon as the shots are made and all operations at the airfield are accomplished you will return to the Flight test facility where you will have the opportunity to take a shower and change. After that you will get a personal certificate testifying your completion of flight aboard Mig-29 jet fighter with all flight parameters and aerobatics listed. Besides you flight will be registered in your pilot’s logbook if you have one.

12:30-13:15 Sokol plant museum tour is an exclusive experience for aviation fans. The museum has a collection of unique exhibits showing not only the history of Sokol plant itself but the development of Russian aviation on the whole. Furthermore outdoors you’ll find real fighters demonstrated (even most advanced like MiG-31 interceptor).

13:15-13:30 Upon completion of the program your personal transport will bring you to the hotel or any other place in Nizhny. On the way back you can make a stop at the restaurant for lunch. We will be glad to arrange for you an individual sightseeing tour around Nizhny Novgorod including Kremlin visiting and cable way ride.

— Higher aerobatics (25 minutes): € 12,500
— Higher aerobatics (45 minutes): € 14,500
— Edge of space flight + higher aerobatics (45 minutes): € 17,500
— Photos and HD video film about your flight: € 750

Besides the flight and the program in Nizhny Novgorod we may also organize an advanced aerospace program with visiting Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre, air forces museum, MCC, RSC Energia for you.
More than that, you can perform certain elements of cosmonauts training in GCTC. We will make a special program according to your request.
Formalities:
To perform the flight of your dream you should make a request for a flight according to the chosen program (by phone, e-mail, or through the on-line request on the site). The request should be made:
— No less than 10 days before the flight for Russian residents;
— No less than 60 days before the flight for foreign citizens.
Filled up participant form (and the accompanies’ forms if needed) with the copy of the passports should be enclosed to the request.
Note: The flights can be performed only on weekdays.
Only people of 18 years and older can take part in the flight.
